Public Health Announcement
Dear Partners-
In consideration of public health concerns over the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) and community-wide efforts to slow its spread, NET management has decided to transition into a Work From Home (WFH) status in the coming weeks while still retaining some on-site operations. This will happen in phases to ensure we are still providing a high level of support and service for our clients and that we are able to maintain staffing levels to the best of our ability.
NET Operations:
NET will continue operations and is creating a set of guidelines for WFH to ensure client needs are met to the best of our ability during this time. We are also closely monitoring updates and taking guidance from the Douglas County Health Department, the World Health Organization and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention regarding the spread of COVID-19.
NET Facility:
NET management has also implemented a visitor and vendor policy to protect both our people and partners. We are significantly reducing/eliminating in-person meetings the NET team attends/holds. Meetings will be held via video or phone conferencing (even across internal departments). We are limiting the number of people onsite as well as asking visitors to complete a COVID-19 screening we have created for this purpose before coming onsite.
Please understand that we have also asked our team to suspend lunch meetings and in person meetings unless absolutely necessary. Additionally, we are cancelling work-related attendance at all large gatherings including conferences for now.
While there has been no confirmed exposure or diagnosis of any person with COVID-19 at our facility, we believe beginning WFH capabilities and implementing our visitor policy is in our best interest as well as in the best interest of public health as we all do our part to reduce the risk of COVID-19 spreading in a manner that overwhelms our healthcare system.
We appreciate all of our partners for your understanding during this time. We hope that together we can greatly reduce the impact of COVID-19 in Omaha.
